Preparation

All participants are invited to have an initial documentation on their local and national realities and share this information with the other participants using this blog as well as during the training course. We ask all participants to prepare themselves before the training course:

- Prepare according to your own creativity and innovation, a presentation of your country, region and bring some traditional objects, as well as some culinary specialties (just for taste) from your region for the other participants and the local population;

- Get ready to be able to present your sending organization, specifying the themes, objectives, activities and future initiatives, for the presentation of organizations (remember to bring flyers of your association);

- Prepare to present a good practice (in the form of video, photo, website, podcast or other), existing in your organization, locality or country related to the awareness-raising of the representation of women in the media (campaigns of awareness-raising, events, project, etc.);

- Prepare short video interviews of your local population on their opinion concerning the lyrics of popular songs in your country, and the impact that they think that these words may have on young people.

- Find examples of well-known songs, in your language and from your country, where the words are degrading or insulting women. Look for or prepare a translation of the song in English or French.

Tous les participants sont invités à avoir une documentation initiale sur leurs réalités locales et nationales et à partager ces informations avec les autres participants à l'aide de ce blog ainsi que durant la formation. Nous demandons à tous les participants de se préparer, en amont de la formation:  

- Préparer selon votre propre créativité et innovation une présentation de votre pays, région et ramener des objets ou tenues traditionnels, ainsi que quelques spécialités culinaires (juste pour goûter) de votre localité, pour les autres participants et la population locale ;

- Préparez-vous à pouvoir présenter votre organisation d’envoi,  en spécifiant les thèmes, objectifs, activités et projets futurs, pour la présentation des organisations (pensez à prendre des prospectus de votre association);

- Préparer une bonne pratique à présenter (sous forme de vidéo, photo, site Internet, podcast ou autre), existant dans votre organisation, localité ou pays, liée à la sensibilisation à la représentation des femmes dans les médias (campagnes de sensibilisation, événements, projet, etc.) ;

- Préparer un micro trottoir (courts interviews vidéo) de votre population locale sur leur opinion vis-à-vis des paroles de chansons populaires dans votre pays, et l’impact qu’ils pensent que ces paroles ont sur les jeunes;

- Trouver des exemples de chansons connues, dans votre langue et issues de votre pays, où les paroles sont dégradantes ou insultantes envers les femmes. Cherchez ou préparez une traduction de la chanson en anglais ou français.
